Financial Supervision Commission
Dimitar Koychev is one of the prominent experts in the implementation of European law in Bulgarian legislation in the field of capital markets. Currently, he is Director of the International Cooperation Directorate at the FSC and holds this post from 2012 with an interruption from September 2015 to August 2016 when he is a key expert in an EU-funded project with beneficiaries the Ministry of Finance, the Securities Commission and the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia.
The main objective of the project is to introduce European legislation in the field of securities (in particular MiFID II) into local law. From 2016, he re-headed the International Cooperation Directorate in the Commission, and his main duties were the introduction of the MiFID II legal framework and its implementing instruments.
