Chiara Sandon

Chiara has joined EFAMA in January 2018 as Senior Policy Officer in charge of regulatory issues affecting the asset management sector (incl. pension and some capital markets related issues). Prior to joining EFAMA, Chiara was leading the asset management team at FleishmanHillard, a Brussels based consultancy firm. In 2011, she was policy officer at Confcommercio International, the Italian General Confederation of Enterprises, Professional Occupations and Self-employment where she dealt with different taxation policy, property rights and international trade issues. She gained work experience at the European Commission as ‘Blue Book’ intern well as with the government relations and communications firm, APCO Wordwide. Chiara holds an MSc in Financial Regulation from the London School of Economics concentrating on EU banking and securities regulation. She also holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations and a Master’s in Public Administration from Luiss University in Rome. Chiara is Italian and speaks fluent English and French and has a working knowledge of Spanish and German.
