Didier Borowski joined Amundi in 2010 as the Head of Fixed Income and FX Strategy and became Head of Macroeconomic Research.
Before joining Amundi, Didier Borowski was Senior Economist and Strategist for Société Générale Asset Management (2000-2009).
Prior to that, Didier Borowski held a position of economist in the French Ministry of Economy and Finance (studying the impact macroeconomic policies in Europe and in the US, the optimal monetary policies following external shocks, establishing world trade forecasts, running simulations of multi-country models and calculating what should be the equilibrium exchange rates within the eurozone).
He also worked as an expert for the European Commission and spent two years working for the Ministry of Economy of the Central African Republic.
Didier Borowski holds a post graduate degree in international macroeconomics and a PhD in Economics from the French University Paris Nord, where he was also a visiting professor (2007-2011). In addition, he is the author of several articles concerning equilibrium exchange rates.
